Not long after coming to The Sloan School, we asked ourselves, why didn't we move here sooner! We had family members at the school who were driving from Plano to Irving - that sent us a message. We have been very happy and can tell a big difference in our children. Their attitude is always positive and they are always looking forward to the next school day!
My daughter has attended The Sloan School since June 2010 and has loved taking part in the school. This has been a wonderful change for her socially and developmentally. The teachers and staff have all done a great job with communicating and keeping parents updated on current issues.
Aidan had been with a private sitter (family friend) from 6 months to 2 years old. I was apprehensive about moving him to a school - now all I can say is BEST DECISION EVER! He has blossomed in a great Christian environment.

The Sloan School has been a second family to our family. When we drop our daughter off each day we don't have to worry at all because we know she will be taken care of like she was their very own. Security is of the best I have ever expeienced in a school. We love Sloan!!!
Sloan School is a steady influence of God honoring values in my son's life. He is valued, loved, and instructed by a very dedicated staff and teachers. It is nice to know what we believe as truth is being taught and lived out to our son every day.
Both our children go to Sloan. We cannot imagine them going anywhere else. The teachers are always accessible and really care, and Mr. Darin and Ms. Christy provide leadership and a Christian spirit. Ryan and Samantha are going to have great memories and friendships from their time at Sloan.
I was one of those people. I said no daycare was worth the price of leaving my children with strangers. No work salary was worth it. Then I became a single daddy. I remember the day I walked into Sloan. Sam was 18 months old. I cried like a baby up at the front. Walking out was the hardest thing I had ever done. Now, leaving is just as hard. I didn't know it on that first day, but I soon learned that I had left my child in Jesus' arms. The presence of Jesus is pervasive throughout the Sloan School and He walks the halls smiling at kids and teachers alike. I believe this with all of my heart. This truth is a direct reflection of both of you (Darin and Christy) and the teachers you embrace. I didn't deserve you, just as I feel humble before Christ in church. I will never forget what you did for us.
Thank you so much for providing me with such a strong educational and Christian foundation. It means so much to me that you care so much about your students, and only provide the best teachers possible. I cherish so many great memories from The Sloan School, ranging from field trips to singing on stage during Chapel. I love that I attended your school instead of a public elementary school - you prepared me so well for the harder middle school classes. This year, I graduated from high school "distinguished", which only about thirty students out of 400+ do each year. I just wanted to thank you and let you know that it wouldn't have been possible without you!
